Icha Icha Paradise

It's been a while since I posted anything but I recently went to Persacon. Unfortunately, this was Persacon's last year. *sadface* I cosplayed as Kakashi Hatake on Friday and Saturday and Sunday I cosplayed as Iruka Umino. :D I met so many people, I was glomped (it hurt a little bit) and I got free hugs! WOO! I also hung out with Chuck (breakdancing Kakashi). ^_^ I hugged that guy -> a lot. xD I had a great weekend! My current projects are a kingdom hearts keyblade and a soul eater scythe. Then I will make a Pavi Largo cosplay and a Drocell Cainz cosplay. :D

Come try out my custom made coffins..hehehahee.

Of Keyblades and Ninjas.

Have any of you heard of the game Kingdom Hearts? Well I'm making a keyblade for my friend Jon. It looks great! All I have to do is paint it and it will be finished!! WOO! I finished  making the vest for my Kakashi cosplay!!! :D Now to finish the shoes and style my wig and I will be completely finished with my very first actual cosplay! :D I am so excited. Persacon is in 9 DAYS!!!!!! I am very excited! I don't really have much to say except that I've become a huge Narutard this summer. Hehe.

End Transmission.

MikuMikuDance and Progress On My Kakashi Cosplay.

The other day I was watching videos on YouTube of these 3D animated characters and I was thinking "Hey, that's cool". I found out that the program that they used to make those videos is called MikuMikuDance or MMD for short. So I downloaded it and I've been making some awesome videos with it. The cool thing about it is that you don't have to install anything. All you have to do is just double click on the MMD program and it opens up. My Kakashi cosplay is turning out great. This weekend I'm going to buy the wig. I need to make the pockets on the vest and put the red symbol on the back of it and I'll be finished with that. Then I need to make the shoes. T_T I need to get off my lazy butt and start doing some work on it or I'll never get it done in time!!! My awesome friend Jay-ar is sending me a kunai. WOOHOO! I'm excited. July 15th is coming up quickly, so I need to start working some more on my cosplay.

Peace Out, Boy Scout.

Kakashi Hatake and Persacon.

I'm still planning on being Drocell Cainz next year at the next HamaCon, but I decided that since I'm going to Persacon in July that I would cosplay as Kakashi Hatake from Naruto. I've already made his headband and mask. I"m currently working on his jacket/vest. T_T I hope it turns out okay. I will also make his shoes. I found a great website that shows you step by step on how to make the shoes, so yay! Haha. When I finish making the costume....and get the wig...then I will post photos of it on here. Persacon is July 15th-17th in Huntsville. It's going to be great. I hope to see my friends there, make new friends, and get free hugs. I'm planning on taking a lot of videos and pictures at Persacon. I will put the videos I take on my new youtube account for all my cosplaying vids. http://www.youtube.com/user/KakashiSenseiCosplay?feature=mhee I currently don't have any videos yet, but I will sometime in July after Persacon.

HamaCon, Toybox, and Cosplaying.

I went to HamaCon this past weekend as L from Death Note. It was so much fun. I made new friends, got free hugs, had a stalker, saw an awesome band. The people that were there are crazy, but awesome.Toybox is an amazing band. They played for us on Saturday night. www.myspace.com/toybx Check them out.
I can't wait till the next con I go to, because I will be cosplaying as Drocell Cainz from Black Butler. My friend Kim is getting her dad to make the music box for me. (Thankfully) If they weren't going to make it then I would go crazy trying to make it. I am either going to buy the costume or attempt to make it. T_T
Wish me luck.

Anime Conventions, Japanese Bands, and Death Note.

This coming up weekend I am going to HamaCon in Huntsville. I'm very excited. Unfortunately, my sister and I won't get to cosplay as the characters we were wanting to go as. Since we are short of time and money we are going to the convention as characters from Death Note. I'm going as L and she is going as Raito (Light Yagami). Luckily, their costumes were very easy to get. An awesome band is going to be at HamaCon. Toybox. I'm so excited about them. The best part about HamaCon is that I will get to hang out with my awesome sister. I'm going to keep this post short so I won't bore you.

Peace Out, Boy Scout.
